We are always so excited when we get to go to a Rays Game in Tampa. The box seats are to die for and make sitting at a game in air conditioning and with all the food you could ever want--the best! Jeff and Amy and the kids, Craig (Cassie was visiting her family in Louisiana), and George and I went to watch them play the Texas Rangers. The Rays won--it was great! (This was actually on August 21st, but I am just getting it posted.)
The boys loved watching the guy come down from the roof on a rope to throw out the first pitch.
They loved sitting and running and just having a great time in the box where they weren't disturbing anyone.
Amy took Garrett and Isaac over to pet the sting rays in the tank they have. They thought that was even better than the game!
And Craig--well, let's just say, I know he loved the game, but he was either texting Cassie--
or talking to Cassie the whole game. Isn't being a newlywed the greatest!
We all went over to Orlando and stayed the night in the condo there. The next day, we took a trip out to Cape Canaveral right before the shuttle lunch.
We went to the outlets, stayed the night again, then George and I went on home, but Jeff and Amy took the kids to a miniature golf course in Orlando. They loved the golfing, but as an added bonus, they got to feed some baby gators. What a great weekend!

Garrett, Isacc and their little sister are all so cute. What a joy it is for you to have Amy and Jeff and their family close enough to enjoy. You and George look like you are in Heaven...a ball game, each other and family. What could be better??
Laura,
I'm so glad that you have Amy, Jeff and their three children so close, just like we have Tom, Hillary and their three children so close. With our other children all scattered, we would be lost, right!?! With George's schedule a little freed up, you are able to take more time off for weekend jaunts, which you are. Way to go!!!, Love, Joyce
