Over Too Soon!

Our final day of fun with grandchildren for awhile took place in Orlando. Kyle and Kim's cruise was over and they drove up from Miami to Orlando. Craig and Cassie came from Gainesville, and George and I drove to Orlando with Carter, Jenna, and Brady. The weather was pretty rainy, but we played fun indoor games at the game center and had huge ice cream sundaes which are "free" every day between 2:00 and 3:00 when you stay at Marriott.

Then we all headed to Downtown Disney for a wonderful time together in the afternoon when the rain had subsided.

Carter & Brady loved the Lego pavillion. This was a huge dragon all made out of Legos!
So many fun things to do! (We're working on the smile!)

Craig had to tease Cassie, as usual, with a gator chomping a tiger!

Of course, Brady had to ride the train!

The Rain Forest Cafe is so fun for the atmosphere--but no one wanted to wait in line for three hours to eat there!

What a GREAT day! There is just nothing better than being with those you love! When we all parted, (George and I went back home. Craig and Cassie stayed the night with Kyle's family.) little Brady started crying and crying. He didn't want us to leave! He made us all cry! But hopefully we'll get to see everyone at the Copeland Family Summer Fun the first week of August out in Utah!

Never-Ending Fun!

Chuck-e-Cheese was a-bustling with lots of summer school groups there, but we still managed to have a great time! Brady loved riding the horse.
Jenna was a great helicopter pilot.

Carter was great at all the games and made lots of points.

The zoo was just a great day--except it closed too soon. We just didn't have time to do all the things we wanted. But then, there is always next time when we come!

Can you see that smile on Brady's face while we were on the train?

The water park was a great way to cool off at the zoo.

All kids love to pet animals--some are just more cooperative than others.

The play area was home to lots of cute "animals".

Lots more fun!

Bye-bye, Zoo! See you next time!

Green Cove Springs Favorites!

Carter, Jenna, and Brady were able to sample some of Green Cove Springs favorites. And were they ever favorites--especially with Brady! The old train station, caboose, and railroad tracks are always so much fun!
We went to Spring Park where there are so many things to do.

At the dock, we saw a few crabs and some fish that were caught.

The next day, Candy Baker had more ideas to bring out their creativity: a fort out of the many boxes she brought! They had colored and cut--antennas, windows, doors, and hallways. With the outside air over 90 degrees, I can't imagine what it was like inside--but never fear. They even had an electric fan inside and were as comfortable as could be.
