Halloween 2014

It is difficult being so far away from all the grand kids--especially on Sundays and holidays.  George and I love to be part of all the fun.  So, I've always asked the kids to take pictures so we can enjoy the holiday, too!
Pumpkin carvings by Kyle and Kim's family.  Great job!
One thing I've enjoyed doing as a grandmother is sending out cards on all the holidays with a little cash and/or some coupons for Wendy's frosties--Grandpa George's favorite!  It looks like Gavin (Cameron and Anne's son) really enjoyed getting his!
Our little married couple--Taylor and Ellie love to dress up!
It is amazing that these two held still long enough for Cassie to get a picture.  (Craig and Cassie's kids.)
This tradition started last year.  Since her daddy is a dentist, he just makes temporary crowns and there she has it--fake fangs!  Ella was so excited to do this again this year! (Kent and Natalie's daughter)
I love that Kent and Natalie got in on the Halloween fun themselves--Kent as John Stockton (who we actually just saw a week ago in Spokane) and Lucille Ball.  Doesn't her costume just bring back so many fond memories?  Natalie pulls off "I Love Lucy" perfectly!
For four years while they lived in Florida, we enjoyed having the Barlow kids come to our home Trick-or-Treating and going to Trunk or Treat at the church.  We miss those times!  So, here is:  Donatello from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles;" Michelangelo, also from "TMNT;" and Elsa from "Frozen."  AKA known as the Jeff and Amy Barlow family!
This little girl loves her daddy!
And is her mommy's best friend!
I understand it was cold there that night.  Smart idea to be Elsa to be able to wear gloves!
And here is Kyle and Kim's son, Brady, with some of his Harmer cousins, getting ready for Trick-or-Treating.  I love how Harley, their dog, is just patiently watching and wondering what this is all about.
This is definitely the "after" picture!  Look at all that candy Brady got!  And Harley is just looking like, "I would be happier if it were all doggie treats!"
Lauren (Kevin and Angie's daughter) and Jenna (Kyle and Kim's daughter) dressed as Army recruits.
And here they are with all their friends who joined in the fun.  Lauren is second from left and then Jenna is second to end on right.
The darling little chef is actually Preston (John and Alison's son)

And underneath that big sombrero is Tyson (John and Alison)

And who is this cute little Bat Girl?
 It's Hannah!  (Kevin and Angie)
Here she is with all her friends who are all Super Heroes!

We heard that Cameron and Anne had a neighborhood party at their home where nearly 100 people attended as families.  That was a giant undertaking, but something Anne loves to do.  I would love to have pictures of that party, too!
Thanks to all the families who shared these darling pictures.  Grandpa George and I really enjoyed them!

Wow, definitely some amazing costumes put together by your kids and grand kids. Can you believe how different Halloween is now from when we were growing up. I remember being more concerned about having a warm coat, hat and gloves for staying warm than wanting any costume underneath.
