Bye, Bye for Now to the Wildes

I still get choked up every time I take somebody to the airport.  We had 17 wonderful days with Alison and the boys, but then it was time for them to go.

After they were gone, it was waaaay too quiet!

In addition to other fun activities we did as a family, the boys participated in camps while they were here.  Bracken, his friend Brandon who now lives in St. Augustine, but they were neighbors in Virginia, and Parker all attended a basketball camp.  Bracken and Brandon, also, went to Especially for Youth in Tampa and loved it!  This is their second year going to that together.  Parker can't wait to go next year!

Tyson went to a tennis camp and is counting on going there next year.

And Preston--well, with that big smile he always has, we just miss how much he added to our home.

We will get to see them one more time while we are out in Utah, then it's back to Shanghai and school there for them!  Thanks for spending some time in Florida, Wilde family!  We loved it!

It's amazing how you look forward all year to your children coming home in the summer, and when it comes its wonderful, but then it is over way too soon!!! I'm so glad you were able to have them for 17 days and make even more memories!

It would have been so nice to see Alison and her family when they were here this summer. Sorry we missed them but I got the report from Erin that Alison is doing very well with her health. Joyce also told me that Alison's eyes even look bright and happy. Also, Laura, Erin raved about her visit with you which she related lasted for at least 30 minutes or so. She thinks you are such a neat person and couldn't wait to share the report about you, Alison and the fun jewelry party.
