Friday Night Lights

For the last two weeks, we have looked forward to going to the high school football games with Jeff and Amy and the kids.  George and I love to go to support the kids and schools in our district, plus it's great watching the grandkids having so much fun being there.

We have quite a number of kids in our ward who are either in the band, in the dance club, or a cheerleader, so it's really fun to see them participating in school activities.

Garrett and Isaac don't watch the high school game that much--they are busy playing their own football game with other kids who come with their parents or grandparents.

Isaac thinks he is as big as the rest of them--I'll tell you one thing for sure--he is as tough!

Lola stays pretty close by because she's afraid of the loud buzzers and horns that blow.

Water is a must!  It's still 85 degrees at night!

And, of course, let's not forget the funnel cakes.  What is a football game without a funnel cake!

Ah, yes, nothing better than a football game on a Friday night!

It is a fun time for all!! The crowds were much smaller last night at Fleming Island. I heard Clay had a good game, though. It is so nice for you to have some grandkids so close and do such fun things with them!!

Aren't you glad you have some of your grandchildren close by! What would you do without Amy and Jeff's and what would I do without Tom and Hillary's? High school football games are pretty exciting to go to, and now is definitely the time to live in Florida!

Laura, you and George look so cute in your photos with little Lola. She is really growing up and so cute as are Amy and Jeff's boys. What a fun night to be together.
