Our 26th Grandchild is born!

We are so proud to announce the birth of our 26th grandchild:

Dawson Craig Copeland

 He weighed a whopping 9 lbs. and 15 oz.!!!  He was four days old when we got to see him for the first time.

 My first attempts at a "selfie" since I didn't have anyone around to take the picture.

 We all think he is adorable!  He is such a good little guy!

 We now have 18 grandsons and only 8 grand daughters--but we're not complaining.  We love both types!  Hah!

It's a good thing he is such a mild little guy because his sister keeps everyone running!  She is a bundle of energy with such a darling personality.

 

 She wears either an Anna or Elsa dress day and night, only taking them off when she goes to church.  She sleeps upstairs and needless to say, I have never seen her stay in her bed after they put her there.  She comes to the railing to watch all of us below--she looks like Juliette on her balcony!  Hah!  She pitter-patters down the stairs and it's so hard to get angry at her, but it finally takes a little sterness to get her to stay in bed.

 

Here we are with Baby Dawson, his sister, Kennedy, and his brother, Riley.  Riley is going to be a great big brother to his little brother.

He is much calmer and likes to play video games.

One night we went out to a Japanese restaurant where they make the food right in front of you.  Baby Dawson is right behind me just chillin'.  The kids were so good while we were there and really enjoyed themselves.

Kennedy was pointing to the sizzling food and all of a sudden . . .

the chef started the onion pyramid on fire.  Kennedy's reaction was priceless!

She was startled, but never did cry.

We so enjoyed our time staying with Craig and Cassie and hope we were good help after the birth of their new little (big) one. 

 One of the days, Grandpa George and I got to go to Cowboy Day at Pre-School.  It is really fun because two of our grandsons are in the same class--Riley (Craig and Cassie) and Gavin (Cameron and Anne).  This picture cracks me up!  Gavin's eyes are hysterical!  The next little boy is Noah--who is a good friend of theirs and in their carpool.  On the right is Riley.

 

 At their school, the kids all eat on the floor.  They don't seem to mind!

 Another fun activity was going to Jaxon's baseball game.  He came in about half way through the ballgame to pitch and was just dynamic!  One inning was three up--three down!  We hadn't ever seen him play baseball, so we were really impressed!

George and I feel so blessed to be grandparents.  We love being involved in their activities and soon, after George retires, we hope to get to many more activities by moving closer to our grandchildren.

Congratulations, Craig and Cassie!  We are surely proud of this new little grandson and for you, as the wonderful parents that you are!
