Parker Returns from his Two-Year Mormon Mission to Pennsylvania Philadelphia

Our grandson, Parker (Elder Wilde), left in July 2015 for his two-year Mormon mission to Pennsylvania Philadelphia.  He was now on his way home!  We all could hardly wait to see him come in!

Tears of happiness and excitement!

And finally we see our missionary coming down the escalator!  After not seeing a missionary for two years, only getting to talk to them on Christmas and Easter, it is a very emotional time to see them return!

 Mom gets the first hug.

 Then comes dad.

Then come the two younger brothers, Tyson and Preston.

Finally comes the older brother, Bracken.  With the two brothers' missions overlapping, they hadn't seen each other for 3 1/2 years.
Parker's cousin, Connor, had returned from his mission a year ago.  He and Parker have always been like two peas in a pod their whole life!

Parker's cousin, Kade.  He would be leaving for his two-year Mormon mission to Ecuador in just a few days.

Parker's cousin Taylor, who also served in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission, but Spanish speaking, and returned a little over four years ago.  He and Parker knew many of the same people in the mission.
Parker's Uncle Kevin.
 Hugs for grandparents.

One of the missionaries who served with Parker, Devin Winstanley, also came to welcome Parker home.
Such a happy family reunion!

Family friend, Sandy, came to support the Wilde family.  She has known all the kids since they were little!

After the many happy greetings and gathering the luggage, we all headed for our favorite family eating place in Utah--Chuck-a-rama.

The returning missionary and the missionary getting ready to leave.

There is something for everyone there, since it's a buffet--even for little guys like Copeland!
After being released as a missionary in the afternoon (which was extremely difficult for Elder Wilde to do--he loved being a missionary sooo much!), it was time to shop for clothes for the now Parker Wilde, College Student.  Even after such an emotional, long day for Parker, he wanted to do one more thing before ending the day--go to Top Golf!  A large group of us went and had such a great time together!
Even after not touching a golf club for two years, Parker still had great form and played very well!
It is so wonderful to have Parker home!  We are

all so proud of all he did on his mission!  He definitely served the Lord with

all his heart and has certainly "Returned with Honor!"
