Angie hosted a wonderful wedding shower for her daughter-in-law to be, Ellie. It was so fun seeing many of Angie's friends and women in the ward there, plus of course, the added bonus of seeing so many relatives.
As always, Angie had the most fantastic food which many of her friends helped out with.
Ellie and her mom, who looks just like a sister. Right?!
Me, Shaun's mother, and Angie's mother
Cassie (who came in from Dallas) thought Kennedy was ready for bed, but no doing. She wanted to join the party, too!!!
So, Cassie gave up and let her join. She had a great time along with Riley.
Alison came from San Francisco for the wedding. This was the first time she had ever met Ellie. She immediately loved her just like we all did!
Melanie with my sister, Natalie's daughter, Kelsey. Cute cousins!
My nieces Jennifer and Camille, along with their mother (my sister) Joyce, and Alison
So many of Angie's wonderful friends came . . .
Angie's cousins, along with Jamie (Angie's sister), Ryanne (Jamie's daughter), and Marti (Angie and Jamie's mom)
Jamie's darling little boy, Dax, also came.
We introduced Jennifer to Tifany, and they became instant friends. They both are photographers extraordinaire!
So many wonderful gifts from wonderful friends and family to help Taylor and Ellie get started in their married life.
Ellie's sister-in-law along with a favorite family friend.
After the eating came the opening of the gifts.
Riley wanted to sit front and center with Lauren and Ryanne to watch the gift opening.
So, I lined up as many kids as I could on the slide to show how many kids were, also, at the shower. We didn't even know they were there because they were all having so much fun in the huge backyard.
They talked me into taking a crazy picture of them. So funny!
Meanwhile, back at the gift opening . . .
Jennifer made lots of new friends that evening!
This was the group gift--an excellent vacuum!
Koda absolutely loves Angie's mom. She tends him whenever Kevin and Angie have to be gone for long.
I was so glad he sat on her lap. He is so tiny, I was afraid he was going to be stepped on.

Such a wonderful evening. This was the first of the great wedding events for the week. We are all so thrilled with Ellie joining our family. I know she will be missed in her home--especially by her mother. She is the youngest in the family and the last to leave. But never fear--she's not losing a daughter, but gaining a wonderful new "son."
P.S. The shower was over--the party was a huge success! Everyone had such a great time. Now would Kennedy go to bed?
Doesn't look like it, does it.
She eventually did--but I had to take a picture of her hair the next morning. Such a funny little girl that we love so much!

You certainly did record the evening with great pictures. I'm so glad that Camille, Jennifer and I were able to attend. The evening was so nice with incredible food, weather and socializing!
