When we heard Craig and Cassie would be spending a week in Florida, both George and I were ecstatic! So here are some of the memories that I will cherish of their visit!

Riley and Kennedy swinging in the same swings their daddy did when he and all his brothers and sisters were young. We have had these swings for 43 years!
Riley learned to pump and now can go soooo high!

When the lizard awoke, he left behind his tail which fell to the ground!
Success! Riley caught the little frog, but it is difficult to see with the leaf over it. As with all animals--we teach catch and release.
We then took a trip over to Spring Park. Riley loved seeing the blue crab that some people had caught and were in the bucket.
It's always so fun to walk on the dock to see what people are fishing for.
This woman was so sweet to Riley in showing him how to set the line and then reel it in.
So far, she had caught one fish.
This is still shrimping time, so Riley loved watching the people cast their nets and bring in the large red-eyed shrimp!
Along with the shrimp in the nets, these silver fish (that's what I call them anyway) come in the nets. Most people don't even bother with them for eating, so they just throw them back in. At first, Riley was a little hesitant. But soon, he was just throwing them back in with all the other fishermen and women.
I noticed Riley made friends wherever we went. On the dock, he met a little guy his same age who was shrimping with his dad. You could tell he had done it many times. He knew exactly how to pick up those barbed shrimp and wasn't a bit afraid of them. Here he's holding it up by it's long antennas.

The next day was Kennedy's two-year-old birthday! We decided to spend the morning at the beach!
Something about the ocean is so magical to kids!
Riley loved looking for shark's teeth here on Mechler Beach.
My friend, Susan, met us there. She is an expert on sea animals and ocean finds.
No one brought swim suits because we thought it was going to be too cool. We were ever so wrong! It was perfect weather and the water temperature was perfect, too! So, swim suit or no--it didn't stop the kids at all!
Oh, yuck! This water is terrible! Too salty!!!
Susan showed Riley how a little star fish had washed up on the beach, so he needed to be thrown way back in the ocean to save his life.
There's nothing more fun than gathering sea shells!
The beach became a giant wipe board!
This was the best picture we could get because of the bright sun and wiggly kids!
We were so glad Susan joined us. She helped to make our time at the beach so great!
Happy Birthday, dear Kennedy!
After we got back to the house, George joined us and we had Kennedy's birthday party! It was seriously so much fun!
Such a fun-loving little two-year-old. She just melts your heart!
Riley was patient in allowing Kennedy to have her big day, but I did let him get something at the store so he would have something new to play with, too.

Kennedy is absolutely obsessed with Minnie Mouse, and since she would be going to Disney World the next day, everything rotated around Minnie and Disney World!
She loved us singing to her!
I know the tablecloth is pretty bright, but Cassie reminded me we didn't want icing all over a white one!
You have to have mouse ears to go to Disney World when you're two!
And Cassie had this darling little dress made for Kennedy to wear to Disney World. Wait until you see it on her! She absolutely looks adorable!
The first thing after the presents were opened is that Riley and Kennedy had to have a tea party.
Papa and I were to happy that we were able to celebrate this darling little two-year-old's special day with her. We love you to pieces, little Kennedy!
Tomorrow: We go to Disney World!

That Kennedy is just a doll. I'm sure you just can't take your eyes off her; she's sincerely just the cutest!!! You know how to show your family and anyone who visits such a great time.
