We went to Mimi's and seriously, the food was like homemade--simply delicious!
Some of Angie's family members, also, came with us. It is always fun to see them.

After dinner, we all went to Jordan Commons to see a movie, our favorite Thanksgiving afternoon activity. Even after eating a huge Thanksgiving dinner, George had to have his big old milk shake before going into the movie.
All too soon, the week was over. We knew we were going to miss everyone, but certainly not the cold. That was about the coldest I've felt in a long time. Both George and I had split fingers that were bleeding from the cold! I guess we're getting wimpy, but we're certainly not used to the dry, cold anymore.
On the way home, we stopped in Dallas. Cameron and Anne and their two youngest boys, and Cassie and Riley were so sweet to come all the way out to the airport to visit with us. (Craig had to work that day.) Even though we only got to see them about 40 minutes before boarding the plane again, it was so worth it. The little kids have grown so much since we last saw them!

Yes, our Thanksgiving Week was truly a week of gratitude. We ended up seeing five of our seven kids' families, and that always makes us happy. We are so thankful that we see Jeff and Amy's family daily back in Florida, and we will get to see John and Alison's family at Christmas time which we are certainly looking forward to.

That layover in Dallas is a blessing! What a perfect detour, and at the same time get to see the family. So grateful you guys had a wonderful trip. We look forward to seeing you soon too!
That was quite the week you had!!! How wonderful that you even got to see your grandchildren in Texas on a layover. I remember when Michele and Brian lived there, and they came to the airport a couple of times on our layovers. We're excited to see you this weekend.
