An Attitude of Gratitude - Part 3

My Thanksgiving week of gratitude, also, included spending a wonderful Family Home Evening together.  I am so grateful for the church's Family Home Evening program that provides one night a week that we spend in teaching gospel principles to our families or we just plain have fun together.  This week, Angie had arranged for our family to go bowling together.  Have you ever noticed how you can tell exactly how a person bowled when they turn around . . .

The agony . . .

The ecstasy!

Taylor's friend, Elle, came with us.

George was giving everyone hints of how to play the whole night.  Actually, he was a very good bowler when we were going to school at BYU--a few years ago!

And, of course, he was giving everyone "high-fives"!

Angie was a great sport to play right along with the kids.

And then the dads had to show how it was done!

What fun!  Afterwards, we all went for ice cream shakes (even though it was freeeezing outside!) and then went home.

What a great idea! We forget how much fun we enjoyed bowling growing up! I'm glad you persisted in getting the pictures back on your blog!

I enjoyed watching each one of Kevin and Kyle's family members bowl and seeing their cute personalities in the photos. They are all growing up which is great but makes me see how quickly time passes. It is wonderful that you and George can have these special times with them.

Fun stuff! The boys would have LOVED to be at that FHE. They love going bowling, and we have a new bowling alley very near our home. I don't think it matters the temp outside.....Dad is always up for a good milkshake (:
