The wedding day finally arrived! The bride and groom had a beautiful ceremony in the Draper Temple performed by a priesthood holder appointed as a sealer. To understand a little more about a temple ceremony, the bride doesn't walk down an aisle like a traditional wedding, but she and the groom kneel across an altar where they make covenants with each other. About 50 of us were in attendance to watch the sacred ceremony.
At lds.org, the following is stated about a marriage performed in a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple:
Marriage performed under the law of the gospel and the holy priesthood
is for mortal life and for eternity. Worthy men and women thus sealed in
the temple in marriage may continue as husband and wife throughout
eternity.
All of us who had attended the ceremony, as well as those young people who haven't been in the temple yet, couldn't wait to see the bride and groom exit the temple, married now as husband and wife.
The marriage took place in the same place that Ellie had her endowment, the Draper Temple
Taylor's sisters, Lauren and Hannah, Taylor's cousin Ella, and Ellie's nieces and nephew were so excited to see the bride and groom.

One of the little nieces was going to pick a flower, when her sisters or cousins came up to tell her not to and pulled her away; however, she had a hold of it, and it pulled the flower anyway. It was actually quite funny!

John and Alison and their family came from San Francisco for the wedding and special events. Everyone was so happy that Bracken spent the day with all of us.

In addition, we had four of our seven children in attendance: Kent, Kevin, Alison, and Craig. The other three who all live out-of-state had events in Utah afterward, so they were unable to attend at this time, but Taylor and Ellie were certainly in all of their thoughts.
