He wanted an Incredible Hulk cake. Notice the green--he was Amy's little St. Patrick's Day baby (almost) just like Kent was mine! It's so fun to have a baby at this time and have little shamrocks all over their little beds in the hospital!
Isaac just couldn't remember how old he was now on this birthday, so he would count all five fingers because he knew he could now put up all five. I told him just to remember "High Five," so now if you ask him how all he is, he will say, "High Five!"
Can you tell how happy-go-lucky he is! He is such a fun little boy. Look how excited he is to blow that candle out after we sang to him.
Getting his traditional birthday card and birthday money from Papa and Grandma. ($5.00--one dollar for each year)
Now, to the birthday presents. Can you tell that he loves action figures!
And the finale--his parents made him cover his eyes . . .
He was pretty excited when he saw . . .
his new bike! He has been riding without training wheels since he was about 4 1/2, so they thought he could move up to a little larger bike.
Papa and Grandma really love our Isaac Boy!
Saturday was his very first soccer game. He was a little confused at first with another team involved after only practicing with his own team, but he was very agressive, and he's going to be fun to watch!
Way to go!

Isaac looks SO happy for it to be his day!!! They get so darned excited - well, so do I!! How nice to have them close by so you can enjoy these times.
That cute smile...that neat hairdo... those excited eyes...your cute photos caught it all. Birthdays just don't get any more fun!!
Isaac, along with Garrett and Lola, couldn't look like happier little children. Amy and Jeff are such wonderful parents!! Thanks for sharing!
I just spent the past half hour reading all the posts ... so much cuteness I can't handle it all! Isaac and Lola and Riley, they are each so precious! I'm glad I am all caught up now on my own brother's family! Thank you, Sister Copeland, for posting such beautiful pictures of Isaac and Lola on their birthdays. And I laughed at Riley petting the turkey. So funny! Thanks again for the updates. I like to check often to see Jeff and Amy and all that they're up to (and wow, they are a good-lookin' couple!!!)
I sure loved catching up with your sweet family. Isaac and Lola looked liked they had wonderful birthday celebrations. Amy is so pretty. Motherhood agrees with her. She has a great example to follow. Thanks Laura for always being such an example to me. We love you and your family so very much!
What a fun party! I love the cakes Amy picks. I need Publix bakery here in China. It definitely would save me some good time, and make a great daily fieldtrip!!
