And We're Off!

Now came the actual sailing for our Mediterranean Cruise.  Doug and Joyce had already sailed on the Celebrity Solstice before, so they had some great insight on what we should do and where we should go on the ship.  With the wonderful cruise planner Joyce worked with, she got us on the sixth deck in a balcony cabin on the very back of the ship.  We could go out on our balcony and have a view of everything behind us.  It was fantastic!

Our rooms weren't ready yet, so we went upstairs to the buffet to get a little bite to eat.  The desserts looked very tempting, but George went directly to the home-made ice cream!

Soon, the guys chose to have a little snooze while Joyce and I explored the ship a little more.

Leaving the beautiful city of Barcelona . . .

When we did get to the rooms, they were fantastic!

George out on our balcony.  You can just barely see Barcelona now.  We were ready for great adventures ahead.

Such a beautiful boat and the room looked like you were traveling luxuriously for sure. It is fun to know that George is predictable and loves his ice cream. He is such a comfortable traveler and makes everything fun.
